Monster Month is a month-long celebration filled with spooky and fun activities for all ages, taking place in the stunning communities of Elora & Fergus, Ontario.
It's a time when the community comes together to enjoy Halloween-themed events, parades, craft corners, and more.Monster Month is held in Elora & Fergus, part of Centre Wellington, Ontario, a little over 1hr drive from the GTA. These charming towns are nestled along the historic Grand River and are known for their 80 ft limestone cliffs and picturesque landscapes.
It is the perfect backdrop for our month-long festive Halloween activities.
Monster Month features a wide range of Halloween activities and events, including monster parades, ghost walks, Halloween-themed dining, cemetery tours, and monstrous fun for the whole family.
At the heart of Monster Month are the 80+ lantern-creatures of the Twilight Zoo. These self-illuminating creatures invade the village of Elora, hang off buildings and lampposts, and make a perfect Halloween centerpiece.

If you have an event you'd like to include in Monster Month, it's easy to submit!
First, gather all your event details, then contact us for access to our community portal. Once you've signed in, you can upload your event information.
After submission, a Monster Month volunteer will review and approve it for public posting.
While costumes are not required, they are highly encouraged! Live your monster life to the fullest!
Dressing up adds to the festive atmosphere and makes the events even more enjoyable.
